MEET OUR COUNSELOR

PORSCHA PROFITT, M.S.

Porscha Profitt is a Detroit, MI native who moved to Huntsville, Alabama for college in 2006. She received her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2016. She has always had a passion for helping people, especially children and adolescents. She practiced within the field of ABA for a span of eight years across all environments; clinic, school, home, and community. She completed her practicum and internship at a local private practice in Huntsville where she counseled both children and adults in 2016. She went on to counsel adolescents in a residential setting until January 2018. Her family moved to Georgia in 2018 where she enjoyed spending some quality time with her newborn. Upon her arrival back to Huntsville in late 2019, she began her journey as a Substance Abuse Counselor for Huntsville Metro Treatment Center where she counsels adults during the day.

She dreams of creating a counseling space designed for families in the Autism community where they can come, be themselves without judgement, discuss topics other people may not understand, and gain the support needed to continue making positive strides and changes in their lives and their families lives. Most of all, Porscha is ecstatic to be a part of our team and looks forward to providing individual and group counseling services to those in need!
